This is a Genuine OEM Honda part, # 06390-Z39-C30 breather heater cold weather kit. This will fit the following models: EU2000 (iT1, iK1), EU2000 Camo (iT1, iK1), EB2000i Honda generators are designed to operate in cold weather. However, there are some cold-weather conditions where it is possible for condensation to collect and freeze inside the crankcase breather tube between the air cleaner and the engine. When this happens, ice can block the air flow and restrict crankcase ventilation, which may cause the generator to run poorly or oil to leak from the engine. A breather heater will keep the tube warm enough to prevent ice from forming. The breather heater fits inside the tube. The heating coil gets its power from the generator by connecting to the back terminal of a receptacle.
